Dr. Kevin Silver joined the Sheltering Arms physician team in 2013. Specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as interventional pain management, Dr. Silver sees patients in the Sheltering Arms Spine Clinic. He is dedicated to identifying and providing comprehensive treatment of acute and persistent pain.
Dr. Silver completed his medical education at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and his residency at Michigan State University School of Medicine. He has presented lectures on numerous clinical topics, including pain syndromes, inpatient rehabilitation, and EMG findings. He was a course instructor at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Silver is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Silver’s interests include painting, snow skiing, photography, recycling, running, college football, ping pong and hiking state and national parks with his dogs.
