Nutrition & Dietary Counseling

A healthy diet is essential to gaining and maintaining physical health. Upon admission to a Sheltering Arms hospital, patients' nutritional needs are assessed and a licensed dietician is available to make recommendations and modifications to meal planning as necessary. The dietician also provides nutritional counseling, as appropriate, to help patients plan a healthy diet after discharge.
